Ameeshi Shah is a Toronto- and Mumbai-based photographer whose journey began in 2014 with a simple curiosity that quickly evolved into a lifelong passion for visual storytelling. From the moment she picked up a camera, she was drawn to the power a single image holds — the ability to preserve emotion, reveal character, and tell meaningful stories.
Under the mentorship of Bharat Rawail, Ameeshi built a strong technical foundation while also gaining hands-on experience working with high-profile celebrities. This period shaped her approach to photography, teaching her how to navigate professional, fast-paced environments while remaining focused on capturing authentic, story-driven imagery.
People are at the heart of Ameeshi's work. She is inspired by individuality, emotion, and the subtle interactions that make each person's story unique. No two shoots are ever the same, and it is this constant sense of discovery that continues to fuel her creative process.
Her portfolio includes commissioned work with celebrities, couple shoots, family portraits, corporate portrait shoots and also photographing Bollywood actors at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she refined her ability to capture compelling moments in dynamic, high-profile settings.
